I cannot understand how Ahmadinejad tries to deny the Holocaust on the grounds that he likes to examine history and ask questions from a "scientific" approach. To say that the Holocaust has not happened, or to belittle the experiences of those who suffered during it, is certainly not scientific at all. When he says "Historical events are always subject to revisions," he is of course correct in stating that people have tried to rewrite history, many times. But to use this as an excuse for rewriting it or erasing it (because of one's own personal biases) is utterly wrong; and my heart breaks when thinking of those survivors who are alive today who have to listen to ignorant people like Ahmadinejad.
