The National Geographic Channel recently aired program called "Nazi Scrapbooks from Hell", based upon a recently discovered notebook full of photographs of the Nazi party.. This notebook contains disturbing images of Nazis celebrating Christmas, having parties, picnics, etc - right in the middle of Auschwitz.

I saw this as well ... well worth the time ... interesting on many levels.

After posting that link, I did some reading about that particular photo album and the Holocaust Memorial Museum's attempt to place the album's (Nazi official) owner in one of the photos on a ramp. There is a blog on the Natl Geographic site where many WWII historians, educators, etc have posted that the uniform the man in question is wearing in the photograph is that of an NCO, not someone as high ranking as he was.. So maybe its not him. I like that channel. So far. :D
